The Deepings Management Partnership is a non-political group of volunteers from the local community supported by South Kesteven District Council that work to improve the quality, viability, vitality and sense of place of the Deepings, focussing on the Town Centre.

The Partnership is currently chaired by a local business owner and comprises Councillors, members from the Deepings Business Club, representatives from local community groups and organisations, Market Deeping Town Council and Deeping St James Parish Council. Input is also received from South Kesteven District Council and Lincolnshire County Council as appropriate.

Our key objectives can be summarised as:

• To achieve modest and sustainable growth in the town without damaging its historic character.
• To focus on developing and delivering appropriate projects and facilities as well as protecting the built environment, in order to benefit both the local community and visitors.
• To raise the profile of The Deepings and enhance its reputation as a beautiful and historic market town.
• To ensure a balanced development between the historic town centre and its industrial/business base to ensure a better quality of life for all.
