» September 2007 - European Market a resounding success

DMP European Market (September 2007)The old Market Place in Market Deeping saw thousands of visitors stop off to explore the delights of a visiting European Market on a sunny Saturday in September. An amazing range of foods were on offer including bread freshly baked to order, speciality sausages, cheeses, marinated olives, a huge range of dried fruits, and freshly baked biscuits. Speciality ciders and teas could also be purchased to quench any thirsts. There was also plenty of freshly cooked food on offer to keep the energy levels up as you perused the range of leather goods and gift items on offer.

Public feedback has been very positive for this event. A number of local businesses also reported an increase in trade as a result of the extra visitors.

The DMP would like to host another similar market next year. Watch this space for further information.
