The DMP would like to encourage visitors to enjoy the river that flows through the Town Centre.
To help do this the DMP, in partnership with the Deepings Heritage organisation, are creating a ‘Welland Walk’ along the riverside. The route will run from the bridge at the western end of the Town Centre to the Coronation Park towards the eastern end.
We hope to put signs up guiding people in the right direction and giving some information about the history of the river and wildlife that frequents it along the way.
